We are happy to share that Sara Sarto, post-doctoral researcher at AImageLab, will be featured at the AMD Silo AI Research Club this Friday!
Sara's research spans vision-and-language models, image captioning, cross-modal retrieval, multimodal large language models, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines. In this session, she will explore retrieval augmentation in multimodal large language models alongside host Pier Luigi Dovesi, Robotics and Autonomous Systems lead at AMD Silo AI. The talk will take the form of a research journey across multiple papers, tracing the insights and design decisions that led to her most recent work, ReAG — covering key learnings and implications for modern multimodal AI systems.
